Latin Word of the Day

Before I start the word of the day, I must note, that these sections are not going to be very long most of the time, especially since it usually involves a single word, a picture of said word, and a description of that word.

Electrum, Electri /eːˈlɛk.trʊm/ (n) noun; second declension

Surprisingly, despite being the root in which “Electric” comes from, it does not mean “Electric”. It actually means “Amber”.
